Summer is afoot.

And up in the chain-o-lakes region, what better way to spend the hot summer than burning off excessive amounts of racing fuel in your newly repowered boat.

I have some photos of the boat here on it's temporary resting spot.  Looks great.  The graphics came out very well.

But the best part, the truly best part is the ridiculous speed and power of this boat. Keep in mind that we are still tweaking certain items, props and the gauges.  The gauges have been a wrestling match.

In any event, the boat runs out incredibly well, new cruising speed is about 70-75 mph on GPS.  We did prop the boat down to a cupped 30 pitch bravo, since we wanted to maintain throttle response on the lakes that we are running.  Quite frankly, the 32 or higher would be too much, although the motors can handle it.

I am working on getting some links to youtube to put up some of the videos that we had taken.  The motors sound like jets when they are spooling up into 9lbs of boost.  However, it takes a certain nerve to hold it wide open past 95mph.

Enjoy....

Here we have some new photos of the boat exterior.  This has been three months in the making.

For all those interested, we should be in the water for the first time next week.  We are waiting on debris in our lake system to wash away before we take it out.

Hopefully, we will get some video of the tank runs on here next week as well.

Thanks!
